CRUSADI~RS PARTICIPATING -- Students in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades of parochial schools, and boys and girls ranging in age from 10 to 14 appointed by pastors in parishes where there are no schools. No crusader or school should be handicapped or favored in the competition for prizes by any devia- tion in the amount of commissions granted cru- saders. / Five beautiful prizes to be divided among the top winners in each division! Cash commissions on all sales and bonuses for top schools in each division. All this plus the wonderful opportunity of sharing in the Apostolate of the Catholic Press! NEW AND RENEWAL--Subscriptions are to be solicited. Crusaders may solicit anywhere within their parRh. Minimum quota for each cru- sader is at least one subscription. COMMISSIONS WILL BE ALLOWED ONLY ON SUBSCRIPTIONS R.EPORTED THROUGH SCHOOLS OR PARISHES Fill Out Subscription Blanks In the Following Order 3. SUBSCRIPTION RATES -- $3.50 per year for delivery in the United States. Payable with order in full ($3.50). Add $1.00 for annual sub- scription to Canada and $1.50 for all other foreign countries. 4. SUBSCRIPTION LIMIT -- Long term sub- for more than two years will not count crusade. Subscriptions for less than one will not be accepted. 5. RECEIPTS---Every subscriber should be giv- err a receipt showing the name, amount of pay- ment, date paid, etc. 6. ORDER BLANKS--Crusaders are permitted to use only the subscription blanks issued at their schools; they should not use blanks assigned to students attending other schools. 7. CASH COMMISSION -- THE OBSERVER will pay a cash commission for each subscription. The school or parish Crusade Director will send the full amount for each subscription to The Ob- server. SCHEDULE OF COMMISSION Crusader's Share One Year @ $3.50 30c Two Years @ $6.00 60c 8. TRANSFER OF SUBSCRIPTIONS NOT AL. LOWED--Teachers are not permitted to select fin individual crusader to whom credits are given for subscriptions obtained by others. No crusader is permitted to transfer his or her subscriptions to another crusader. Crusaders may obtain assistance from non-crusaders, within or without the school. 9. DAILY RETURNS--Turn in full amount col- lected to your School or Parish Director every day during the Crusade. 10. SCHOOl, REPORTS--To facilitate the an- nouncement of winners and the handling of thous. ands of subscriptions, reports from schools and parishes without schools should be sent to THE OBSERVER daily. 11. PRIZE AWARDS -- Prize winners will be determined on the basis of returns received. 12. VIOLATIONS--Any violation of rules will cause forfeit of all right to prize awards. 13. DISPUTES--In case of dispute, the decision of THE OBSERVF Jt will be final. a.
